Radio 92.9

28 02 2008

Contrary to Radio 92.9’s feedback page I would imagine Boston’s Radio 92.9 (formerly WBOS) was getting slammed with negative comments. If you look at today’s last 100 songs played they appear very similar to WBOS.

Radio 92.9 tried to change to many things all at once. If they slowly changed the programming then I don’t think they would’ve have pissed off as many people.

[...] Update 2/27/08:  Is it just me or does it sound like Radio 92.9 listened to the feedback and changed their play list back to sound more like WBOS?  Please feel free to leave your comments below.  For their last 100 songs see:  http://rockphoria.com/2008/02/28/radio-929/    [...]

WBOS went from my favorite station to my favorite station. I was surprised at first to hear the more alternative songs, but feel their choices are the very best of alternative and parents of alternative. I agree that there are similarities between the new station and 104, but here is one difference. I listen to 92.9 and have it as my first preset, just as I did when it was WBOS – p.s. I am in that over 30 bracket.
