U2 – With or Without You Video

Up until this video I listened to whatever crap K104 in Poughkeepsie and Yo MTV Raps in NYC was dishing out at the time.  I had no favorite band and probably leaned more towards hip-hop and flavor of the week bands than classics.  

Well in March 1987 I saw this video for the first time and it changed everything.  The intensity of the song, the seriousness of the lyrics and this dark video just blew me away.  The Edge’s virtual guitar sound was like nothing I had ever heard before and it immediately made me a U2 fanatic for life.  After 20 years and tens of thousands of listens this is still my favorite U2 song.  I still get chills every time I hear it.
