Grace Potter & the Nocturnals just finished their fist of three nights at Boston’s legendary Paradise Rock Club. Dressed out in white boots, a skirt and an AC/DC t-shirt Grace rocked the house for over two hours. The culmination came with the final encore and when all four members of the band banged on a different section of the drum kit.
Sorry to say but the highlight of the evening may have come from Allston, MA based Eli “PaperBoy” Reed whose voice filled the house and even transcended his impressive 3 piece horn section. If you get the chance go see Eli live – go! Eli has a very impressive soul & R&B sound that harks back to artists such as James Brown, Janis Joplin and the crooners of the 1950s!
