The Greatest Christmas Song Ever!

Every year I always make the declaration that the Pogues’s “Fairytale of New York” is the greatest Christmas song ever and every year my mom gets angry at me for liking such a song – especially a Christmas song that’s not as pure as Bing Crosby’s White Christmas. Fairytale of New York is a very sad song and unfortunately reality for many people but the upbeat tempo and beautiful singing by Kirsty MacColl makes this a favorite of mine and countless others.
